- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had cataracts removed from both eyes in early summer 2016 by Anne Gilvarry at Optegra. Of all the private hospitals I have visited, either as a patient or a visitor, I think Optegra stands out for its friendliness and professionalism. Quite apart from the exceptional standard of care I received, one small characteristic was particularly impressive: every single member of the staff who looked after me started by saying "I am Sue-Jane (or whatever) and I am gong to (whatever)".
